I don't believe this method supports the removal of the EGR without keeping the sensor and the valve hanging around, but it will turn off the EGR, diesel particle filter and the CAT. You can stack a tuner right ontop of the Gearbox Z DPF, which means you can used a tuner if you want to or you could use the Gearbox tune that can be added to the DPF tune, I believe they have two offering for tunes now. It will do the deletes, the new exhaust does not need to have the sensor port welded into the pipes. I would check on your costs, set the EGR delete as the lowest priority (could do later if funds dry up). Whatever tuner you decide to go with just make sure its "Off Road" capable. You also have products like the dpf-r and the torque tech tuners to choose from, but again they don't quite stack up with the other manufactures. Those are the 3 companies that most people choose and we have had pretty good luck with all of them. Or you can just go the cheap route and do the dpf-r, I still don't really like them because well. With a set of gearhead tunes you can't really beat what a mini max will provide for you. Probably the most popular (And most expensive) option are the H&S tuners. I like my SCT X4, it is relatively cheap compared to most of the other tuners, and it has more options for custom tuning than pretty much anything else. Going to go through Rudys Diesel again for this too. I got mine thru Rudys Diesel.Īs far as the egr delete, I am going to go with sinister or flo pro. Very good price, fits very well and very easy, and you can get them anywhere.
